On Gardens

I can't keep plants alive. 

I kill 'em so fast.

But I adore them.

I love trees and flowers and shrubbery, I love mosses and grasses and clover. 

And as I look back over 2024, I have the strongest sense of having friendships and sisterhood and - well, love abloom all around me. I am surrounded by beautiful people who exude kindness and hope and encouragement and joy.

My long-distance friends and my close friends, my quiet friends and my loud friends, my siblings and parents and extendies: I thank God for you. Your presence makes this world - my world - sweet and good.
