This is a bit of a read, but it filled me with delight and I wanted to share.
Okay. So the firelight and the lines make it like a moving picture, a story embedded in a picture. Amazingly cool.

I feel like so much truth comes to us like cave art. We see it, and shine our bright lights on it, and try to make it make sense in our context. And it is interesting and appealing, but we miss almost everything when we don't see it in its own context.
We need to hold it gently, because we might not understand. We need to hold ourselves to what we know, but also remember that we might not know the full picture.
For me, this is why it's important to keep learning - to keep reading and listening, to keep trying to see through someone else's eyes, to be open to the direction of the Spirit - because perspective (and the right lighting!) changes everything.
